Sugar lurks in almost everything that is packaged or fast. It puts a toll on your immune system which makes you more vulnerable to invading organisms like bacteria and viruses. That is why most people get sick in the fall and winter months when our sugar consumption is at its highest. This article showed some alternatives to sugary drinks and snacks.
