Some of my greatest mentors were my grandparents. I remember when I was in my 20’s having a conversation with my grandfather on his birthday. I asked him if he ever thought he was going to live this long? He looked right in my eyes and said, “If I did, I would have taken much better care of myself.” I remember him going to all of these doctors and trying all of these home remedies just to get a little bit of relief. It didn’t work for him. He was suffering as he was aging; instead of enjoying the quality of his life and enjoying all of the benefits of his hard work through life. He was suffering.
